i feel this pic to be almost a theatre performance...just because of the presentation/emotion in it.. it's like i can construct a whole narrative around it, but you've caught the essential, or the hidden, or the suspended...? the relationship b/t singer and mic is so full of tension, and i feel like all the shadows of it are in that frame... and that it could be any moment, it could be the first breath, it could be the pause, it could be the expiation... you're so good at opening it all up for me Leah... i really do need your eyes!
