Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!

I love this picture!!!
It's quite different from alot of your other work. I love the sterile but vibrant blue backdrop, how the papers look frozen in mid-air, and the enigmatic look Joan(?) has on his face .

Thanks Sue, you two have a wonderful thanksgiving too, how's the new house??

The blue backdrop is Joan ( Yo-han )'s blue screen for filmmaking. and the trick is, the papers were taped to his leg. I love contrasts like that, like when the expression on someone's face doesn't make sense with what's going on in the image. with the camera you are able to create little scenarios like that , that don't make sense, and therefore are very interesting to the eye.

Aha! -taped papers! I knew there was some serious photographer's sleight of hand at work here.( I thought it might be a blue screen, but didn't think still photographers used them too )
And Joan, je comprend maintenant, a derivative of Juan, n'est ce que pas?

I love this, Leah, and it's totally different form alot of your other work, too. Humor is the hardest thing to pull off I find, good job. Versatility! Woohoo!
But obviously your trees are speaking my language; beautiful.

Thanks Paul,
Sometimes i find it hard to take credit for photographing nature..... each leaf, tree, and flower is so incredibly beautiful in itself, especially when lit by sunlight. but i guess someone has to take pictures of it, and not everyone has an nice little 1.4 50mm lens like i do:)
