Photos. moments pinned down for a fleeting second by the tip of the shutter. stored in a cavern of memory. for no one but you. and i.

I love it when a photograph looks like a blank canvas with a stroke of ink on it

You take many nice photos of dancers, but Roxanne told me she wishes you had more photos of ninjas.

leah... what can I say... those are the best pictures i've seen from you so far. The first one in black and white is amazing. I'm not a photographers, so it's hard for me to tell why, or what exactly give me this idea. But the poetry of the moovement in that picture, is like a static image of music. I would like to be able to catch as much in a word... Can I try to put some words on your work? Would you mind?

i'm so proud to know you!

well Dave, you see.... ninjas aren't as common in Montreal as they are in Prince George, but if you and Roxanne can find some i will be more than glad to photograph them, and Sam says he will assist me.

merci beaucoup Tak,

i don't mind you putting words to my work at all. it's part of the reciprocal process of art. it delights me that something i produce ( reproduce ) could be beautiful to someone else.
