Elle

Meet my new (old) bike "Elle". She is a vintage Raleigh sports bike which I found on used Victoria.com. She's a beauty, in really good condition, and rides smooth... Now it only takes me 5 minutes to get to work! and 10 minutes to get to the ocean. Life is good:)

almost summertime...

On a day like today I am just happy to be alive. Life is so full of little gifts. It is 18 degrees outside. It is summer warm. The sky is flawlessly blue, with a fluffy cloud here and there to break up the monotony. The friendly guy at the bike shop on the corner is tuning up my bike for only ten dollars, and I found a bike basket with a removable picnic basket inside it which will be the enabler of fancy-free summer picnics...

I picked up two loaves of sourdough and 3-seed organic bread at the local bakery, the air is pungently sweet with blossom trees and flowers. Everyone I passed on the sidewalk was smiling. I also found a tile shop, with a side room full of an assortment of tiles, I picked through them and found some treasures which will make a lovely set of coasters. All I had to (got to) do was make a donation to the animal shelter in exchange for the tiles.

I only wish stupid people wouldn't steal nice people's jeeps!! Who the hell do they think they are anyway?!
